How it works

How it works

Four steps, one round, five claims.

01

Pick a lens (or stay apolitical)

Your voluntary identifier only changes which framing you see first. The underlying claim is the same for everyone.

02

Read the framed story

You get one attributed article aligned with your lens. Notice what it emphasizes — and what it leaves out.

03

Answer before the reveal

True, False, or Not enough evidence. Set your confidence. Lock it in. Then the primary source and fact-checks appear.

04

Compare the spin

See how other outlets framed the same claim. Learn the difference between what was announced and what actually happened.

The scoring

  • 100 points per correct verdict (including "Not enough evidence").
  • Up to +20 for well-calibrated confidence on correct answers.
  • Up to +20 speed bonus in timed modes.
  • +100 for a perfect round. Scores are computed server-side.
